For nearly 100 years, Movement Church has inspired Woodstock residents and beyond. Pastor Watson led the first church meetings in a tent at a local school in 1928 until the organization found a permanent church. In 1941, the church became Calvary Community Church. More than 50 years later, the church moved into a new building at 65 Landsdowne Avenue, and in 2013, Pastor Jeff Price took over. Over the last decade, the church has grown by 700 people, and in 2020, Calvary Community Church officially became Movement Church.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the church has currently been limited to online gatherings, which occur live on Sundays at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Churchgoers can either watch alone, or they can join a Movement@Home Watch Party, through which they can gather with others to watch the service and participate in discussion and prayer.
